Kanye West's new album The Life of Pablo has only been available through streaming on Tidal, but that's finally changed as the LP is now available for download.
The catch is that you must be one of the people who originally purchased The Life of Pablo on its release day before it was taken down for sale or got a download code as part of the Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden. While it's not a massive change, this seems to be another sign that Kanye West might be freeing the limits of The Life of Pablo being a Tidal streaming exclusive.
The Chicago rapper has already released " Famous " as a single, meaning the song can now be streamed on services like Spotify and Apple Music.
Outside of the fan-made covers, Peter joins Kaws, Condo, and Murakami as artists who have contributed cover art for Kanye. The album has weathered several changes, especially the title.
A few days ago, 8BitHipHop uploaded a gruesome image of a pixelated woman with the face of a demon on top of an all-black background. In the caption, the artist confesses that he was contacted a few weeks ago to create artwork for the album before the name was changed.
Without question, Kanye is an artist that truly cares about art and design. I have long stopped questioning the actions of Mr.
West and patiently wait for them to make sense, they always do, with time. Or at least they have so far. The influx of art created by the fans and graphic artists is giving us a wide selection of possibilities. Freedom and minimalism, the cover ultimately combines these two values that have slowly become synonymous with Kanye.
After just one listen, it's clear that while West might be losing his mind, he hasn't lost the ability to make great music. Thank Yeezus, we can finally move on from this particularly ugly time in music history. As the week's tick by 'TLOP' is looking less like a poorly executed album release and more like fraud. The release of 'TLOP' has so far been the most disjointed and confusing effort of all-time, but I still have hope Kanye can fix it.
The production has been tweaked and fine-tuned plus Kanye's vocals become even smoother. The lyrics "She be Puerto Rican day parade waving" was updated to "She in school to be a real estate agent. The production has been completely revamped and the song is runs a few seconds shorter than its original length.
A different instrumental pops up at the second mark and there are noticeably more synths added. The vocals are louder plus background vocals are added on the second round of The Weeknd's hook. The only change here is the title, which is now "Siiiiiiiiiilver Surffffeeeeer Intermission. Kanye crafts the track so it sounds like the original version that was first dropped on SoundCloud. The outro is a bit out-of-sync with the vocals and the beat doesn't line up with it. A lot of the production is minimized, turning the track into a proper outro and ending the album with "I can feel it.
